The Ambassador of Ghana to the Kingdom of Denmark attended the Eid ul Fitr celebration organized by the Ghanaian Muslim community in Copenhagen on 3rd April 2026, where she served as the Guest of Honour. She was accompanied by staff of the Embassy.
The event brought together members of the Ghanaian diaspora, families, and friends in a spirit of thanksgiving, fellowship, and unity following the holy month of Ramadan. The celebration provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on the values of faith, compassion, and service to humanity that underpin the Eid festivities.
In her remarks, the Ambassador commended the Ghanaian Muslim community for its commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and cohesion within the diaspora. She emphasized the important role played by Ghanaians abroad in strengthening Ghana’s image and fostering closer people-to-people ties between Ghana and Denmark. The Ambassador also encouraged members of the community to remain united and continue contributing to the development of Ghana.
