EMBASSY OF GHANA HOLDS MOBILE CONSULAR SERVICES AND DIASPORA ENGAGEMENT

The Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Copenhagen successfully organised Mobile Consular Services and Diaspora Outreach programme in Malmö on 2nd May 2026, the first in a series of planned outreach activities in Sweden. The exercise brought essential consular services to the doorsteps of Ghanaians and foreign nationals resident in the Skåne region, including biometric passport capture, instant visa issuance, and diaspora data registration.

During the diaspora engagement session, Her Excellency Dr. Margaret M. Chebere, Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark and the Kingdom of Sweden, highlighted ongoing Government of Ghana policies, including the reset agenda. She reaffirmed the Mission’s commitment to improved service delivery and encouraged participation in the Embassy’s planned diaspora-led programmes. The executives, volunteers, and members of the Ghanaian community also made useful and insightful recommendations towards national development. The Ambassador was accompanied by officials of the Embassy, including the Deputy Head of Mission, Right Reverend Isaac Clive Mould.

The programme underscored the Embassy’s commitment to responsive service delivery and sustained diaspora partnership in national development.
