On Saturday, 1st August 2026, the Embassy of Ghana in Copenhagen participated in the Afro Kultur Festival held at Rundbuehallen in Svendborg. The Embassy’s delegation was led by the Ambassador of Ghana to Denmark, H.E. Margaret Miewien Chebere.
The festival brought together members of the African diaspora, Danish residents and friends of Africa for a vibrant celebration of African culture. The programme featured live musical and cultural performances, traditional cuisine, fashion and other activities showcasing the continent’s rich and diverse heritage.
The Embassy’s participation formed part of its continued efforts to strengthen engagement with the Ghanaian community across Denmark and promote Ghana’s culture, identity and values. It also provided an opportunity for the Mission to interact with members of the community in Svendborg and surrounding areas and reaffirm the Embassy’s commitment to maintaining close relations with Ghanaians throughout Denmark.
